Patina Chef's Knife
This one is a looker! The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s difficult to capture the “oil slick” effect this patina had on this specific steel alloy. The grind and heat treat turned put particularly good on this blade, so I decided it needed an extra embellishment.
To compliment the blade I chose some torpified ash. it’s quickly becoming a go-to choice for handle material, its durability and handsome look are hard to beat.
1095 high carbon steel, German
8’’ effective blade length
12 3/4’’ overall length
