FAQ

  • I use USPS flat rate shipping, generally it works out to 10.49 for each knife. If you’re international, opposed to the federal government or want something ridiculously large or heavy, contact me directly and we can use your shipper of choice at cost.

  • Returns will be handed on a case by case basis. Generally, I will require that you return the knife and after receiving it and verifying it is in good to new condition will issue a refund less a 15% restocking fee. Subject to change, and will be dependent on the circumstance.

  • I cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in shipping. I make no guarantee whatsoever to any kind of warrantee. That said, this is a small business looking to make the best name possible for itself and hoping to earn repeat customers. Please contact us immediately if your item is lost, damaged in shipping or damaged upon receipt.

  • Custom orders are available. A deposit of half the total price is required before work begins. Once the work is complete, we will send images of the custom order, and then the second payment is due upon customer approval prior to shipping. Local pickup is always available, by appointment only.

  • I make absolutely warranty or guarantee. Knives wear with use and they will age, blacken and change over time. They simply aren’t going to break unless you’re doing something with them that you shouldn’t be. However, I am both prone to breaking things myself and well versed in manufacturing mistakes. Things break that shouldn’t for unexpected reasons. The most important thing for me is that people are happy with the knives I make and that they use them. If something happens with your knife, contact me and send some pictures along with a written description. If I messed something up I’ll generally resolve it ASAP at no cost. If you messed something up, ill still likely resolve ASAP at minimal cost. No matter the situation or what happened to the knife, I prefer happy customers and my knives in use.

  • Your knife will change over time! The steel will blacken, the handle will wear with use. If your knife is in need of some love and attention, we are happy to give it a sharpen and shine whenever needed. The customer is responsible for transporting the knife to and from the shop, and the turn around time may vary.
