Large Chopper, concave grind
This is an extra large chopping knife made with the professional chef in mind. The right hand side has a concave grind to allow for air space in order for cut material to not stick to the blade. The blade shape is based on a Japanese style nakiri chopper paired with a European style contoured handle.
The blade is made from domestically produced 1095 high carbon steel, and is extra deep for chopping larger leaf vegetables. The handle is made from a non-porous black phenolic material, and meets requirements for commercial use. It’s a similar handle material as is used in the handles for classic Buck knives.
