Friction Folder - Brass Handle
This is a classic friction folder based on the traditional Higonokami style knife. It features no mechanical lock or opening assist and is legal in most jurisdictions. The tang extension both aids in opening and keeps the knife open during use, as the palm of the hand presses down on it during use.
The blade is made from 1095 high carbon steel in 1/8’’ material thickness. The tang extension is forged into the blade, then ground to final form. The whole blade has been hand sanded and then polished.
The handle is made from 3 layers of 1/8’’ thick brass that are silver brazed together. The handle is polished along the spine and face, but both side are ground to 400 grit and then intricately laser engraved.
